Growing up in the countryside of Greensboro, Ga, Alan’s parents taught him and his brothers the principles of integrity, grit, and entrepreneurism. Above all, they taught him to always focus on helping others, and these principles have stuck with Alan throughout his life.
As we all do in adolescence, Alan certainly faced challenges that would define his personality. For starters, Alan was quiet, shy, and was somewhat reclusive as a child. This lack of social connection and confidence manifested itself in increasing weight and poor grades, until he met one person that would change everything forever.
It was the first day of fourth grade, and Alan’s fourth grade teacher stared deep into his eyes as she would many times that year, and emphatically expressed, “You are better than this, and I won’t accept anything but your best.” She shook Alan to his core and woke him up from the slump he was in. Over time, his grades increased along with his confidence, and his weight decreased. It’s amazing the impact that one person can have on a life.
These experiences taught Alan to always route for the underdog, to be sympathetic to other’s challenges, and to believe that it only takes one person who cares to impact lives for years to come.
Alan attended Mercer University where he was active in student government, led his fraternity to transformational growth as president, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with degrees in both Economics and Entrepreneurial Management. Most importantly, that is where he met the love of his life, Allison. They currently live in Roswell, Ga with their two pups, Beaux and Mali.
Today Alan’s sights are set on caring for others the way that his fourth-grade teacher cared for him. His goal is to awaken others from their slump and empower them with the confidence to not settle for anything less than their best. Financial planning is not just a job to Alan, and it isn’t just a career; rather, it is a calling, a duty to help amazing people live their fullest, unique lives through sound financial planning.
Originally from Mexico, Jose’s family moved to Atlanta after the 1996 Olympics to live out their American Dream. Once in America, his father pursued his Ph.D. and his mother was an entrepreneur. Jose graduated from the University of Georgia in 2008 and spent 8 years in the corporate world before deciding to dedicate himself to the craft of being a financial coach, consultant, and partner with his clients.
Growing up, Jack was immediately drawn to team sports and the desire to work alongside others to achieve a common goal. He was able to excel at soccer allowing him to compete on multiple Olympic Development Program teams. While competing on these teams, Jack understood the need to put the team first and get his hands or better yet feet dirty to win and grow. Good play and coachability landed Jack a spot on the Varsity soccer team at Berry College.
Going to a smaller school helped Jack develop his core values, interpersonal skills, and have hands on experience. Just like his favorite athlete Tim Duncan “good, better, best. Never let it rest until your Good is better and your better is best” This relentless attitude propells Jack mentally, and he was even named Most Improved for his Junior season. Outside of soccer, Jack was a member of the Bonner Scholar’s program a non-profit based scholarship program that allowed him to serve at both the Boy’s and Girl’s club of South Rome and Action Ministries a local food bank. Jack was also an active voting board member for Berry College’s student led investment fund BIG.
Jack’s experiences at Berry College created a desire to have meaningful personal relationships. Combining this with his passion of finance, joining the personal financial sector was a natural transition.

Inspired by Alan's vision to become the go-to financial firm for millennials, Peter takes pride in the positive impact TMFP is delivering clients. He enjoys the dynamic nature of realizing someone's dreams through education and empowerment.
Born in the US, but having spent most of his childhood in mainland China with his Korean parents, Peter had the privilege of traveling to multiple countries and being exposed to a variety of cultures growing up. Ever since he was little, he has found himself to be in a role where he acts as a bridge between multiple cultural groups, since he, for the most part, was the common denominator and knew (and lived) both sides of the story. His unique upbringing made Peter aware that keeping an open mind and helping others were the secret to fulfillment in this ever globalizing world.
The values he developed and held onto through adolescence was exactly what attracted him to The Mill Financial Partners. As he went to college and entered the workforce in the US, Peter came to the realization that there was a tremendous gap between the dreams of an average working class person and the harsh realities of living paycheck to paycheck under the suffocating mountain of loans. Alan and The Mill Financial Partners inspired Peter to try bridging this gap by educating and empowering as many people as he can, so that people could live their life to the fullest.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys reading, playing instruments, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Meagan’s interest in finance started as a Junior in high school while working as a bookkeeper for a fitness facility in her hometown. This role steered her towards studying finance in college at The Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University, where she began her career in personal finance, while interning for a boutique financial planning firm in Atlanta.
Her internship turned into a full-time job after graduation. Meagan studied and learned the intricacies of personal financial planning for individuals and families to achieve their short, intermediate, and long-term financial goals.
An issue Meagan consistently ran into with her clients was not having the proper education and training to advise on how to navigate their student loan debt, nor the platform to be able to properly service these clients. Meagan started her own practice- Financial Coach Meagan- in March of 2017 with the desire to specifically specialize in helping people begin their financial planning journey with student loan debt in the mix. Meagan was the first person in Georgia to acquire her CSLP® designation, as a Certified Student Loan Professional™. Her specialized education around student loan debt allows her to guide borrowers through informed repayment decisions, taking into account their full financial situation and financial goals.
Outside the office, Meagan serves as Treasurer of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) as well as President & CEO of the non-profit organization Power Suit Project, Inc. Meagan enjoys cooking, reading, and strength training; when she is not working or volunteering, you can often find her in the gym or cheering for the Atlanta Braves.
“I think my passion to help those with student loan debt comes from the fact that many professionals (44 million borrowers) have student loans as part of their financial picture - often times with overwhelming balances (Over $1.52 trillion debt outstanding).
The complex and seemingly ever-changing nature of student loans makes knowing what repayment strategy is best for YOU, very difficult to navigate. 81% of Americans with student loan debt have delayed financial and/or other life-decisions as a result.
My goal is to bring peace of mind to my clients and borrowers by helping them gain control of their finances and feel confident in their financial futures.”

This feisty ball of fur hails from the mean streets of Macon, Ga where his mom found him in the middle of the street during a torrential thunderstorm. After beating a bout of parvo and overcoming all odds to survive, Beaux’s talent to continuously bark for hours make him perfectly suited to be head of security.
Director of First Impressions and Client Relations
After fostering dogs with Angels Among Us for nearly a year, we were blessed to come across this sweet angel and it was love at first sight. We adopted her the same week that Mohammed Ali passed (hence the name Mali), and she is everything that her brother is not: sweet, quiet, and cuddly. Her talents make her perfectly suited for client relations, and she has been a great addition to our team.

"I think the most important thing and the reason that I like Alan and his approach is that it's all about creating value for us and it's working with us to come up with what that unique value is for our insurance planning and risk management needs."
